Members anonymously review and rate one another’s confessions creating a scored hierarchy. The rules require users to maintain a 1:1 confession-to-review ratio. The website itself selects which confession a user will read next based on the similarity between that user’s score and the scores of users with unread confessions. In this way the “better” a member’s confessions are the better the confessions are that they will read and review. Besides the confessor, each confession is only ever read by one person.
